I used this episode to talk about motivation and the powers it has to change your life.
Many of the wonderful things that have happened in my life can be put down to luck but i truly believe that the luck i have been blessed to have is the product of the motivation i had to achieve more in my life.
Remember, i started off the journey like anyone else. From the very beginning.
I’ve also had failures. Many of them.
In fact, it would be fair to say that i’ve had so many failures that i have my own mental-library the size of a big building with all the things i either messed up or sucked at. But that’s a good thing.
I also feel like i’ve failed more than most people. Like, really.
I learned from my mistakes and little by little, i moved forward, one step at a time.
The key to that was motivation.
I’ve ingested books, audio, video over the decades from people like Tony Robbins, Gary Vee, Casey Neistat, Kevin Hart and a whole list of others, giving me the tools i need to move forward, one step closer to my end goals.
And those end goals keep changing every year, getting bigger, better and clearer in my vision. This is the point.
In this episode, i was with people who i consider to have high personal motivation. People like Idris Elba and DJ Bliss. They embody what i’m trying to say here. Undeterred by speed bumps in the way of getting that tick on a step.
There is nothing stopping you from starting. Only you.
Get a vision, get motivated about it and start making a path to building it, brick by brick.
